this new years eve, it SNOWED!! and we had some visitors from new haven, conneticut--> jody and aaron. i hear at that they check-up on me & my blog regularly...so i thought it would be fun for them to make an appearance!

my new big boy chair

my grandma and grandpa got me this new big boy chair. everyone can see how much i like sitting in it, AND sitting at the dining room table with everyone else. i am such a big boy!

my auntie brit called this evening and told 'me' that she wanted to email everyone that has a blog connected to mine -- to kindly ask them to post more/new pictures... she says we are getting boring. i guess that means that she likes to check in on all of us, which sure is nice of her!

i love to play outside in my (new) backyard...running in the grass, walking up and down the walk-way by the garage, clanging the bell on the gate. it doesn't even matter if it is dark outside...if i move around enough, the motion-lights come on and i have plenty of light to play in. my mom thought it would be funny to take a picture of me on the other side of the window that i have been staring out for months while the yard was being worked on. i like both sides of the window, but this one is new to me and i like the excitement that comes along with that.

october weekend

the fleece-suit that my grandma bought me last fall fits me perfectly now and it keeps me nice and warm in the cold weather. this weekend we got some pumpkins from the farmers market and helped papa with the backyard. he has been working all summer on the re-grading, the new patio and fence. it is looking great and will be ready for me to run around in next year (kind of like my fleece suit!)

i have learned how to climb over the back of the sofa to get out of the living room and up into the dining room. i love my new-found 'freedom' and have a BLAST 'running' around the dining room table. i breathe heavy and giggle as my auntie phonsavan chases me around!

WALKING!!!

i started walking last wednesday night 1 hour before bedtime. i just stood-up and took a step ... and then started circling the room! my mom is convinced that i have been practicing in my sleep or my mind or SOMETHING, because now i cannot be stopped. it is so much fun!

birthday picnic

my momma & papa held a picnic at COMO park for my first birthday. it was so much fun. all of my KEO-cousins {alison, rylan and marin} and my friends {stella & severin, masa, brandon & natalie, and allen} and their parents came!! it was a lot of fun and there was so much tasty food! i think everyone had fun playing at the park, riding on the rides and looking at the animals in the zoo. i had so much fun that i didn't fall asleep for my afternoon nap until 4:30 after we made the full round at the zoo. it was a great end to my first birthday celebrations!
