"Mack? I'm no Mack, I'm a PeterBuilt for dang's sake. Turn on your lights, you moron!"
here is another example of my ability to make-up phrases of non-sense when i don't/can't remember/say the real thing....and how those phrases of non-sense come to make more sense to me even when i am told what it is that i'm trying to say. and, perhaps, the funniest part of this whole thing is that eeli is now picking-up snipits of these things from me because to him it very well sounds like most other english he's hearing {nonsense} ... so he repeats it after me with great confidence - that is, until he hears what it is supposed to sound like and he starts to try to make sense of things for himself.....{for those without kids, or those not familiar with the movie CARS - this phrase comes from a scene in that movie}

apple orchard ... 2 weeks ago

highlights: kettle-corn, honey-crisps, (red)tractor ride, watching the tractor's big wheels leaving tracks in the mud, the hay-bale maze, sticking my finger in my nose in the only picture of me and my parents, running through the orchard with eeli, falling asleep in the car on the way to stillwater for lunch, sleeping in my papa's arms even after he took me out of the car and carried me all around town and sat with me limp as a bisquit in his arms until the food came, driving through jackson meadow, driving home on winding country roads with my window open.
