Today we walked to the sliding hill by our house and had a whole bunch of fun playing in the snow! i got a ride in the sled and jabbered jibberish the whole way there and back. one of the things my mom could understand of my important conversations was "eat white snow.....eat white snow...eat white snow"
(i want to eat snow a lot and she told me that i couldn't eat yellow or brown snow.)

Looks like the Lussi hand-me-down outfit worked perfectly. I can't believe the boots fit him! We had lots of fun in the snow here too!
yeah - got some black snowpants from the bryn mawr rummage sales this spring that work perfectly with her jacket! the boots may not fit him for long....pretty soon silo is going to be giving lussi hand-me-downs!
never a good idea, to eat the colored snow. we are loving the snow too!! anyone got any ideas of how to ski with a baby? heard the chariiot was too hard, what about a sled or a back pack...anyone??!?!?
oooo...i've thought about the backpack - but worry too much that it would affect my balance and cause excessive falling - which is never very fun in the first place -but could be downright scary with a child on back. my brother/sister-in-law ski with the chariot i believe -- but then again those two really can't be compared to the "rest of us" when it comes to skiing (seeing as they used to do that FOR A LIVING!!) hmmmmm perhaps i'm too cautious/boring or selfish, but one idea that might work: baby-sitter?
