4th of July _ independence day

we had a fantastic time in duluth of the 4th of july weekend. my cousins lussi & sofia, and my aunts brit and kara and uncle cory all came over to my grandma & grandpa's house. we roasted hotdogs & brats in a fire in the un-chimney and even got to make s'mores with marshmellows! we had so much fun playing on the big rock and with some new outdoor games that grandma bought specially for the occassion.
but, i'd have to say that my favorite part of the whole day was the fireworks display. this was the first time that i had been in duluth to view fireworks -(in fact the last 2 years we've been on a lake where people have set-off their own fireworks)- so the display over the harbor, from the rock wall in front of my grandparent's house was the most spectacular thing i've seen. i've been quoted from that night," fireworks are better than marshmellows!"
